Welcome to 2018 at ASHS

This is going to be an exciting year with the centenary of ASHS being celebrated. On day one we had some special guests share their memories of ASHS with the whole school.

This is going to be an exciting year with the centenary of ASHS being celebrated. On day one we had some special guests share their memories of ASHS with the whole school.

We were very proud to have the following people launch our centenary year.

Mr Arthur Richards, Principal 1968-1979

Mr Alan Carpenter, former student, former Minister for Education and Premier of WA

Mrs Jo Lynch, Principal 1985-2002, and

Mr Greg Stocks former student, teacher and current school Board Chair

They shared some interesting stories about their exploits at ASHS and talked about the value of friendships made at school, that last a lifetime.  I am sure the students will remember some of these stories for a long time.  This year our focus will be on our school values and our guests talked about what ASHS means to them.

There are many events planned as part of our centenary year for students and for former staff and students.  The Alumni has lots of plans for later July and early August.  To ensure you don’t miss out follow the links below to register or follow the ASHS Alumni.
