Year 9 students delved into the fascinating world of forestry during an exciting Career Taster Experience excursion.

The day included visits to seed orchards and plantation sites, offering students a close-up view of forestry operations. They also toured the Albany Port to learn about wood chip exports and explored the biofuel facility at ALAC, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the industry's processes and innovations.

A highlight of the day was the chance to hop into tree logger machinery and engage with professionals who shared insights into their diverse career paths in forestry.
