On Remembrance Day, Albany Senior High School students stood together with the community to honour the sacrifices made by Australia’s service members. This day of reflection and gratitude is a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication of those who served and continue to serve in defense of our country.
School Captain Lily and Prefect Hamish had the honour of laying a wreath on behalf of Albany SHS at the Albany RSL service. Their participation symbolised the school’s deep respect and commitment to commemorating this significant day in Australia’s history.
A photograph of Lily, Hamish, and School Captain Dakota standing together in solidarity captured the solemnity of the occasion. Their presence at the service highlighted the values of unity and respect that Albany SHS fosters in its students.
This day is an important opportunity for our students to connect with their history, reflect on the sacrifices of others, and uphold the significance of Remembrance Day. Through their participation, our students demonstrated the pride and reverence that define our school community.
Lest We Forget.
