Year 11 Outdoor Education group may be small, but we’re all about fun, adventure, and making the most of every opportunity! Despite some challenging weather this term, we swapped our planned snorkel trip for a squidding adventure—and it certainly paid off.
One of our students, Scott, had the thrill of catching his very first sea creature—a 30cm squid! Not only did Scott reel in his catch, but the entire class had the chance to learn how to properly prepare and cook squid like pros. To top it off, Scott tasted his catch for the first time, and it was a delicious success!
Congratulations to Scott and a big well done to all the students for their enthusiasm and adaptability. It was a fantastic day of learning and fun, and we can’t wait to see what adventures the next term brings!
