Albany SHS is abuzz with pride for Year 9 student Jamie from Ms Harrington's HASS class, who is taking steps to save the planet in a uniquely creative way.
Combining their artistic talents and passion for environmental conservation, Jamie crocheted an adorable bee and wrote an illustrated book to educate and inspire young people to help protect bees. The project is informative and visually engaging, emphasising the importance of bees in sustaining ecosystems and simple actions everyone can take to support these vital pollinators.
Jamie's work reminds everyone, regardless of age, that they can contribute to the environment. From planting bee-friendly gardens to avoiding harmful pesticides, Jamie's message resonates: small actions can have a big impact.
Congratulations, Jamie, on your inspiring project! Your dedication to making a difference is a credit to Albany Senior High School.
