Our Year 9 Marine and Maritime students were part of something truly special, enjoying an unforgettable surf session with a unique backdrop — the construction of the Mids Surf Reef taking place right behind them!

Students not only had the chance to catch some great waves under perfect conditions but also witnessed firsthand the development of a project that will transform local surfing opportunities for years to come.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that perfectly blended learning, adventure, and history in the making. We are so proud to see our students engaging with their environment and creating memories they’ll never forget!
