Indonesian Cooking Challenge
During the last week of Term 1, Mr Wilson extended an Indonesian cooking challenge to all Year 7 and 8 students to give them something to do during the April holidays. With support from parents, they were given ideas where to find information on Indonesian cooking, and also where to buy ingredients in Albany.
Students were then asked to submit a photo and a small write up, preferably in Indonesian, about what they made.
The Year 7 students made an awesome effort and some were so keen we extended the challenge into the first two weeks of Term 2. You can see some of the beautifully presented dishes in these photos. If any students still want to participate, they are welcome to do so.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who assisted students in producing these wonderful dishes.
