Local intake area
You can find a map of the local intake area for Albany Senior High School here.
You can also search on the Schools Online website to see if an address is in the ASHS zone. Type the address into the 'Search by an address' bar and click on search; select 'Albany Senior High School' on the right-hand side, and it will bring up a map that pinpoints the address you've searched compared to where the school is. This map also shows an outline of our zone compared to where the school and the address searched are located.
Application for Enrolment - students outside of the ASHS local intake area
Students that reside outside the school’s local intake area are welcome to complete an Application for Enrolment form and lodge it with the school for consideration. If applying for the following school year, please contact the school to ensure your application is submitted by the application closure date (Week 1, Term 3). The Application for Enrolment form may be printed and completed manually then lodged at the school office with the required documentation as above.
All Applications for Enrolment for the following school year will be acknowledged by the school by the end of Term 3. An Enrolment Pack will be forwarded to you if your Application for Enrolment is successful.
Year 7 Enrolment Details
During your student’s final year of primary school, our staff will visit primary schools from within our local-intake area and meet with staff and students to distribute relevant enrolment paperwork, discuss Year 7 orientation and answer any questions they may have.
The school offers group Parent Tour sessions for prospective new enrolments from May to late November. These tours commence from the Front Office, where you are shown around the school site by a member of our Executive team and current student representatives as your guides. The duration of this tour is approximately 45 minutes, ending with a short presentation from our Parents and Citizens committee and morning tea in our Staff Room.
