Our Year 11 and 12 Philosophy and Ethics students were fortunate to work with Dr Heath Williams, Lecturer of Philosophy, as a Philosopher in Residence.

Dr Williams engaged Year 11 students in a thought-provoking session exploring the relevance of philosophy in contemporary society and the diverse pathways it offers for further study and careers.

Year 12 students participated in a series of interactive activities designed to deepen their understanding of phenomenology, a complex philosophical method that focuses on lived experience.

Through mindfulness exercises and rich discussion, students developed greater insight into this challenging area of inquiry.

We are delighted that Dr Williams will be returning later in the year to continue working with our students. A sincere thank you to Dr Williams and the University of Notre Dame for their generosity and ongoing support of our subject.
