The Albany Residential College is located adjacent to Albany Senior High School.
The Residential College provides co-educational boarding accommodation to country students from surrounding country regions including the Western Australian Wheatbelt, with students coming from as far as Wiluna and Fitzroy Crossing. Students who attend Albany Senior High School are able to walk to school from the College.
For most students residing more than 56 kilometres from the nearest government secondary school, a living away from home allowance can be applied for which covers the costs associated with boarding. To find out if you qualify, please contact the Albany Residential College directly. For those students not meeting this requirement, boarding is still possible, but fees will need to be paid. As Albany Senior High School is a local intake school, proof of application at the Residential College will be required at the time of enrolment for the School.
Our Principal is a member of the Local Input Networking and Communications (LINC) committee at the College. The LINC committee is made up of representatives from the community and provides advice and support to the manager and staff of the Residential College.
