Albany SHS Shines with Pride

Taking on the powerhouse Division 1 private schools was always going to be a tough ask, but our Albany SHS swimmers rose to the challenge with determination, courage, and plenty of heart. From the first race to the final relay, our team represented the school with pride and an attitude that truly set them apart.

We are incredibly proud of our medal winners, but just as proud of the many students who stepped up at the last minute, pushed themselves outside their comfort zone, and did it all with a smile. Their willingness to put the team first embodied everything we value at Albany SHS.

There were some outstanding relay performances throughout the day from the Year 8 boys, Year 10 Girls and Open Girls, and a special congratulations goes to our Year 10 and Open Girls teams, who combined their strength and spirit to take out the Senior Girls Shield.

Thank you to every participant for your fantastic behaviour, camaraderie, and the way you represented Albany SHS in the best possible way. You made us proud.
