The recent Year 7/8 Footy Carnival was a fantastic day that showcased our students’ teamwork, effort, and school spirit. One of our boys’ teams demonstrated great resilience, giving their best in every match despite not recording a win. The other boys’ team performed strongly throughout the day and finished in third place overall. Our girls’ team were outstanding, going undefeated and winning the carnival.

Congratulations to Phoenix, who was awarded Best Player of the Girls’ Competition and received a football in recognition of her efforts. Notable performances from the boys included Connor, Mason, Katana, and Lachlan.

All students represented the school with respect and resilience throughout the day. A special acknowledgement goes to our Year 11 Sports Coaching students, who showed excellent responsibility as they coached and umpired each of the teams and games with maturity and leadership.
