Year 10 Woodwork students have recently completed their Occasional Table project, showcasing a combination of creative design and practical craftsmanship.

Students began by designing their tables using CAD software, then created scale models in card before moving on to construction. They applied a range of traditional and modern woodworking techniques to bring their designs to life.

Bella successfully brought her concept to life, with a final piece that closely mirrored her original design.

With support from Mr Ayres and the use of our new CNC table router, students were able to cut perfect round and oval tabletops with precision and confidence.

The finished pieces reflect the students’ skills and dedication to the design process—well done to all involved!
