On Friday, 1 August, 50 enthusiastic student leaders, accompanied by three dedicated staff members, headed off to Camp Quaranup for a day of leadership development and team building. The weather was perfect, setting the tone for a productive and energising experience.
Throughout the day, students engaged in a range of activities facilitated by the Camp Quaranup team, including a hands-on shelter-building challenge that showcased their teamwork, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Beyond the physical activities, students took time to reflect on their own leadership and communication styles. This self-awareness helped them better understand how their peers think and lead, and how to harness each other's unique strengths to work more effectively as a team.
The day wrapped up with a dynamic brainstorming session, where students began planning leadership projects for 2025/26. We are excited to see these ideas come to life and contribute to making our school an even more vibrant and inclusive community.
