Our Year 9 students recently had the exciting opportunity to take part in a Career Taster experience at CBH, one of Western Australia’s most vital agricultural businesses.
During the half-day excursion, students were given a unique behind-the-scenes look at CBH’s impressive facilities. They gained valuable insight into the daily operations and the immense scale of work involved in storing and transporting grain across the state.
The experience was enriched by engaging conversations with CBH staff, who shared their personal career journeys and highlighted the diverse pathways available within the organisation. From logistics and engineering to agronomy, IT, and business, students discovered the many roles that contribute to the success of the agricultural sector.
This excursion was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications and explore future career possibilities in a dynamic industry.
