In Term 3 Weeks 8 & 9, students from Ms Jackson’s Year 11 Business Management and Enterprise class conducted their market stalls as part of Task 8.

The groups consisted of Peter and Oliver selling homemade muffins, Siobhan and Sophie selling scrunchies, Josh, Kya and Bodhi selling ice-cream and Jayde, Georgie and Esther selling homemade sugar body scrubs.

All businesses were extremely successful and profits were given to the following charities chosen by the students:

• Peter and Oliver Donated $100 to Beyond Blue
• Siobhan and Sophie donated $150 to Share the Dignity
• Josh, Kya and Bodhi donated $65 to Proudies Foundation

The stalls were part of an assessment for their grade. The students were required to handle money and serve customers, costing, packaging, as well as complete paperwork such as a business report and profit and loss statement. Congratulations to all the teams!
