2019 - Year 10 HASS Revegetation Project

At the end of Term 3, two classes of Year 10 students were able to participate in the Lake Seppings Revegetation Project conducted by Peter Stewart and the City of Albany. If you have driven down the old Lake Seppings Road recently, you will notice where new saplings have been planted, but also how the revegetation has progressed over the last five years or so (our students were also involved last year). The students planted over 1000 native saplings and gained a sense of contributing to the improvement of the local natural environment.

Thanks to Peter Stewart for conducting the tree planting with the students, and to the City for paying the cost of buses to transport the students.
