We celebrated International Women's Day as staff with a breakfast hosted by our Chaplain and Year 12 Prefects.

Donuts, croissants, yogurt, and fruit were on the menu! Ricky Burges, CEO of Albany Youth Support Association, spoke to us about the importance of women in leadership kindness/empathy as key components of making our young people feel cared for/safe, as well as the impact on their development. It was a wonderful time for staff, and we look forward to celebrating Men's Mental Health in November.

If you'd like to get involved in our school-wide project to provide toiletry bags to the local Women's Refuge, we are collecting full-sized, new, toiletry items throughout the month of March (phone the school regarding drop off details)!
