Albany Senior High School recently participated in the Year 7 and 8 Multi-Sport Carnival, with five teams competing in soccer and hockey matches at the North Road ovals. Students demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, teamwork and determination as they engaged in friendly competition with other Great Southern schools.

As a participation-based carnival, the focus was on involvement, effort and sportsmanship. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the experience of representing their school.

Among the many strong performances, Lewis and Isobel stood out in hockey for their skill and consistent effort throughout the day. In soccer, Maddison and Jett impressed with their energy, teamwork and commitment on the field.

We extend our sincere thanks to our Senior School Certificate course students who supported the teams by coaching and umpiring. Their contribution was greatly appreciated and played an essential role in the success of the day.
