Year 10 Photography students gathered in Tech 2, which had been temporarily transformed into an incident room, to present their forensic photography projects. The session explored simulated crime scenes, with students investigating scenarios involving stalking, theft, and murder.
One of the standout presentations, titled Random Killings, was delivered by Grace, Rehema, Kuenra, and Ziva, who demonstrated a strong grasp of visual storytelling and forensic detail.
Staff members Ms Powell, Ms Kay, Ms Elias Peraz, Mr Clark, and Mr Littlewood-Johnson attended in support, taking on the role of “detectives” as they engaged with students’ work and asked thoughtful questions. Their presence added a sense of realism and encouragement to the afternoon.
The activity was a creative and immersive way for students to apply their photography skills in a narrative context, while also developing their teamwork and critical thinking skills.
