Albany Senior High School student leaders and staff proudly attended the Albany ANZAC Day march in 2025.

The weather was perfect, and it was an honour for all involved to represent the school at such a significant event in Australia’s history. ANZAC Day holds deep importance for Albany SHS, not only because of Albany's historical connection as the departure point for the first convoy of ANZAC troops in 1914, but also as a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many in the name of service and peace.

Our students were proud to stand in remembrance and unity, showing their respect and understanding of this vital chapter in our nation’s story. It was a moving and memorable occasion that continues to be a meaningful part of the school’s calendar.
