Year 10 students recently returned from an unforgettable Career Camp in Perth, filled with inspiring experiences and exciting glimpses into their futures.

Throughout the week, students explored a range of study and career pathways with visits to university campuses, residential colleges, and WAAPA, gaining valuable insight into life after high school. A behind-the-scenes tour of Perth Zoo revealed a surprising variety of career opportunities in animal care and conservation, while an interactive session at the WA Space Science Education Centre sparked curiosity about space and science.

Other highlights included a visit to Parliament House—where students had the unexpected chance to meet the Premier—an engaging session with the Australian Defence Force, and a stunning sunset walk around Optus Stadium.

The camp sparked meaningful conversations about future goals and possibilities, and students represented Albany Senior High School with enthusiasm, curiosity, and pride.
